Motorway to be built between Debrecen and Békéscsaba
Total costs of the programme add up to HUF 3,200 billion, and the state is to come up with the larger part of it, HUF 1,800 bn. Most of the project will be completed in the following years, with only a few smaller stretches left to be finished in 2022-24.
They will build single carriageway and roundabouts, as well. Among others, the primary main road Route 8 will be completed, and a motorway will be built between Debrecen and Békéscsaba, as well, said the minister.
Palkovics also said M76 linking Balatonszentgyörgy with Zalaegerszeg will be fully automated from every aspect, and it will be equipped with features linked to autonomous vehicles, including ones that are used by their communication system.
