COVID-19 in Hungary: the curve is now very flat
The latest figures continue to indicate an improvement in the outbreak situation in Hungary as the virus is not spreading faster despite social activity returning to pre-pandemic levels. The number of new confirmed cases has been 1 for the past three days, and fatalities remain very low as well. Meanwhile, the number of active patients decreased by 81 in three days.

Hungary is ending the state of emergency declared in mid-March due to the coronavirus outbreak as of 18 June, with new virus defence measures tailored to the current situation to take effect. Further details will be given at today’s Government Info press conference.
The single new case was reported from Budapest, the first one in the capital this week.
