Thyssenkrupp Hungary to set up HUF 2.2 bn engineering centre
The government of Hungary will provide a non-refundable grant of HUF 770 bn on the investment, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said. Thyssenkrupp has been active on Hungary for 20 years, he added.
The investment will help Hungary maintain its leading role in European car industry and remain “Europe’s car industry citadel”, the minister said at a press conference.
