Hungary issues Sputnik V manual

The pdf document contains “Hungarian-language instructions” according to the file name, while its cover says Summary of Product Characteristics. Based on this, the document could very well be the missing instructions, for the lack of which the Hungarian Medical Chamber (MOK) said it could not “in good conscience” recommend the Russian vaccine.

However, the document is not entirely an instruction manual written by Hungarian experts, as the second page says it is a Hungarian adaptation of the vaccine’s Russian manual, and not one written based on tests as European rules require.

Also, it is dated 28 October 2020, and the Russians themselves are using a more recent version from December, pharmacist and vaccine specialist Szabolcs Dobson told Telex, raising two important questions:

If this document is not based on tests, what has the OGYÉI been doing so far? And if it is not official, who will be responsible for any problems arising from the use of the vaccine?
