According to the report, the meeting was initiated by Viktor Orbán, but no information was given on what the main topic of discussion would be.

Donald Trump and Viktor Orbán have long enjoyed a good relationship: the Hungarian leader supported the US real estate tycoon during the 2015-16 presidential election campaign and they have met since Trump left the White House, most recently in 2022.

This year, the US presidential election will almost certainly see Donald Trump take on Joe Biden again, with current polls showing a good chance of the Republican candidate returning to power.
