Wizz Air to close Debrecen base

According to Wizz Air, the move will allow the company to consolidate its operations at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

The company has offered the affected employees alternative jobs at its Hungarian, European and non-European bases, and Wizz Air will inform the affected passengers by email shortly.

Wizz Air advises passengers who have booked their tickets through an agent or online travel agency to contact them for the latest information on their flights.
