Petrol and diesel prices both rise with the arrival of the new year

The newly announced price increase is

mainly due to the weakening of the forint against the dollar and the increase in the price of Brent oil per barrel,

they say.

Current average prices on 03.01.2025:

• 95-octane petrol: HUF 625/litre 
• Diesel: HUF 644/litre
