Hungarian government approves support for additional 400 SMEs

Hungary's Economy Minister Márton Nagy announced on his social media page on Thursday that, in addition to the previous 452 businesses,

the government has made a positive decision to support a further 400 domestic micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

This decision has nearly doubled the number of supported businesses to 852. The newly approved non-refundable support of HUF 29.1 billion brings the total funding available for development projects, including technological and digital transformation, to HUF 73.5 billion.

The framework of the 1+1 SME Investment Stimulus Support Programme has been increased from the original HUF 48 billion to HUF 130 billion, making the current disbursement possible.
