You can expect e-vignette prices to go up by this much in 2026
According to current regulations, the price of motorway toll stickers must be determined each year based on the inflation rate calculated for the previous August.
As this is now 4.3%,
prices will rise accordingly, rounded to the nearest ten.
The 'Daily vs. Weekly' column in the graph below shows how much you can save by buying the daily e-vignette instead of the weekly/10-day vignette in the different categories. Given the small differences daily stickers are mainly for one-way transit traffic.

According to European Union regulations, the price of a one-day vignette may not exceed 9% of the price of an annual vignette.

There are exceptions
According to the government's announcement, those affected by the renovation of the M1 motorway will be able to purchase an annual motorway vignette at a discounted price in 2026. Residents of the affected counties (Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom and Győr-Moson-Sopron) will be able to purchase county passes for HUF 15,000.
No convenience fee
From September, the convenience fee associated with online purchases will also be abolished. According to government calculations, this will save motorists around HUF 2 billion in total.
