Hungarian fuels group Mol is to lower the wholesale list price of gasoline and diesel by HUF 3 per litre, as of Wednesday. As a result, Mol will sell a litre of gasoline for HUF 303.6 and diesel for gross HUF 290.60 per litre.
Although petrol stations apply different pricing methods, motorists can expect a HUF 3 drop in the price of both gasoline and diesel. The move will reduce the average pump price of 95 gasoline to HUF 330-331 per litre on average, while drivers can expect to pay around HUF 323-324 for a litre of diesel.
Compared to a year ago the retail price of gasoline will have dropped HUF 3 per litre and the price of diesel will have dropped HUF 38 per litre, which corresponds to a respective decline of 0.9% and 10.8%.
The price reduction is likely linked to the drop in the price of refined products.
