Hungary's chemicals producer BorsodChem said on Wednesday that on 23 November it purchased 59,178 pieces of own shares at a price range between HUF 1,910 and HUF 1,930 per share on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE).
The transaction has been completed through HSBC Bank plc via K&H Equites (Hungary) Rt. based on the announcement made by BorsodChem on 21 October 2004, the company said in a statement on the website of the bourse.
Following the purchase, BorsodChem holds 602,215 pieces of ordinary shares as treasury shares.
