T-Mobile to launch 3G at year-end
The company will start testing of the third generation system in Budapest in June.
András Sugár, Chief Executive Officer of T-Mobile, said the 3G network would be competible also in 2020. The new service is expected to launch at end-2005.
According to Sugár, by 2008-10, 80% of clients will have a phone set able to handle 3G data transmission.
Ericsson will deliver the network to T-Mobile.
