Among the leading Hungarian stocks, MOL remains in the forefront of investor attention. The company has released its reviewed growth targets today, while refusing to support the acquisition plans of Austrian peer OMV. MOL stocks have gained 1.2% in spite of a relatively low trading volume of HUF 6 billion.
In the past hour, the stocks of OTP Bank soared higher than ever before, up 0.6% to HUF 10,740. The regional favorite of several influential analysts, OTP may also attract buyers on account of its attractive long-term target prices.
Pharmaceutical company Richter has been able to swim against the current with the stock price having gained 0.1% to HUF 38,200 in spite of the strengthening HUF rates, while industry peer Egis lost 0.8% in value.
