ANALYST VIEW - Wood Co. cuts Hungary's Magyar Telekom to 'Sell' from 'Hold'
- The Czech analyst house cut its recommendation for Hungary’s leading telecoms group Magyar Telekom to ‘Sell’ from ‘Hold’
- The larger peers of Wood are rather pessimistic in their outlook on MTel. The previous revision came from Deutsche Bank, which is among the more upbeat analyst houses, when it upped its target price to HUF 307 from HUF 300 previously, but it still maintained its ‘Hold’ recommendation
- The key risks for MTel include the final outcome of the mobile frequency licence auctions and the negative impacts of the third round of government-mandated reduction of utility tariffs for households
