ANALYST VIEW - HSBC upgrades Hungary's OTP, ups target price
- HSBC has on Monday sharply raised its target price for OTP to HUF 6,750 from HUF 5,800 per share and upgraded its recommendation to ‘Buy’ from ‘Hold’. The new TP offers a 22% upside potential compared to OTP’s current share price.
- At present nine analysts have a ‘Buy’ recommendation for OTP, seven rate the banking stock ‘Hold’ and four ‘Sell’.
- OTP’s average target price is HUF 5,900, 6% higher than the current share price on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE).
- HSBC is explicitly optimistic about Hungarian shares and has a ‘Hold’ recommendation also for fuels group Mol, with a target price of HUF 19,300 which offers a 44% upside potential.
