Hungary Magyar Telekom buys nearly 87 million forints worth of own shares.

Magyar Telekom has bought back shares for nearly HUF 87 million on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday, Hungary’s leading telecom service provider said in a statement on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday.
  • >Magyar Telekom purchased 182,283 MTel ordinary shares at an average price of HUF 477 per share, for a total of HUF 86.948 million on the BSE on Thursday.
  • The purchase made up 34.7% of all the transactions with MTel shares yesterday.
  • Following this transaction Magyar Telekom holds 222,908 treasury shares
  • The transaction was carried out to enable the operation of the incentive programme based on the new remuneration policy announced in the interim financial report on 10 May 2017.
