What will change at Otthon Centrum now that MBH Bank has taken it over?
Kosztolánczy confirmed that Otthon Centrum will continue to operate under its current management structure. Management members will remain in their roles under long-term, fixed-term contracts, and there are no plans for any other significant personnel changes.
We asked whether a brand change was expected or if Fundamenta and Otthon Centrum might operate under a single brand name. He said that these are two separate networks with strong brands of their own. Consequently,
Otthon Centrum will continue to operate as an independent brand, maintaining its own image and customer communications.
In addition, the other networks belonging to the Otthon Centrum group, namely Open House, Rockhome and Benks, will continue to operate as normal.
Although MBH Bank will become the company's owner following approval by the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH), Otthon Centrum intends to maintain its current multi-agent financial intermediary model and therefore considers cooperation with its current banking partners to be important.
The banking background brings real change in that it provides opportunities for advancement. Significant capital strength is expected to result in greater investment in technology and communication. As the country's second largest bank, the MBH Group has a significant customer base, which creates further business opportunities.
