Since the outbreak began a year ago, 439,900 Hungarian citizens have been confirmed as infected, a number which rose by 4,211 yesterday. Unfortunately, the pandemic curve is again clearly showing a faster spread of the virus.

The same goes for the number of new cases, as the latest figures suggest the spread of the virus is now matching the speed seen last November.

The number of fatalities is also rising as 136 people succumbed to the disease yesterday, the highest daily figure since December.
