Hungary Magyar Telekom buys own shares

Magyar Telekom, Hungary’s leading telecommunications group, has acquired own shares on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday - nearly 60,000 of them.
MTel announced on Thursday that on 13 December it purchased 59,839 Magyar Telekom ordinary shares at an average price of HUF 465 per share “to enable the operation of the incentive programme based on the new remuneration policy announced in the interim financial report on May 10, 2017."

Following this transaction Magyar Telekom holds 537,203 treasury shares.
