Hungary Magyar Telekom to pay HUF 25 dividend per share

The Board of Directors of Magyar Telekom, Hungary’s leading telecommunications group, proposes a dividend distribution in total HUF 26.068 billion to be approved by the Annual General Meeting of the company in April 2019, shows the document created for the AGM and published on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE). MTel paid the same dividend in 2018.
In line with a preliminary announcement, MTel will pay a dividend of HUF 25 per ordinary share (with a face value of HUF 100) to the shareholders from the profit of 2018.

The company distributes the dividends for its own shares among the shareholders who are entitled for dividends.

The HUF 26.068 bn to be disbursed as dividends will be paid from the HUF 37.666 bn profit for the year based on the standalone financial statements, and the remaining amount of HUF 11.598 bn of the profit for the year based on the standalone financial statements shall be allocated to retained earnings.

24 May 2019 will be the first day of dividend disbursement. The record date of the dividend payment will be 15 May.

The company expects to pay HUF 27 dividend per share from 2019 profits.
