The summer of 2019 marked the dawn of a new are in the Hungarian savings market with the introduction of the 'superbond', which has brought a series of changes to market players. Despite good yields, investment funds were unable to attract substantial new investments in 2019, property funds were among the chief casualties of the MÁP+ bond, the amount of stocks held by households is increasing but not fast enough, while cash use has reached unprecedented levels. The market for long-term savings is also changing, wit the government set to introduce retirement bonds in the first half of 2020, while the National Bank of Hungary has proposed setting up welfare funds.
Meanwhile, investors are increasingly into environmental awareness, and this shows in investments as well: investments prioritising environmental, social and governance (ESG) are gaining ground at an astounding rate, while an increasing number of Hungarian fund managers are launching their own ESG or thematic funds and businesses now consider ESG certificates essential. The morning programme of our conference features several renowned domestic and foreign asset managers and market professionals who will offer investment professionals, private banking consultants and sales personnel a few guidelines on the 2020 investment, wealth management and savings trends, and also on what to invest in if the global economy enters a recession and what to do in a continued bull market.
In the afternoon section of the event, we will seek to answer what future sales trends will be; how customer satisfaction can be increased; what new products can help increase the profit margins of fund managers, private banks and other players in the investment and savings market; and also what investments can offer viable alternatives to retail government securities. There will be a special focus on ESG and thematic investments.

Számos változás söpör végig a magyar privátbanki piacon: egyre több a digitalizációt követelő fiatal ügyfél, egyre népszerűbbek a környezettudatos befektetések és átalakulóban vannak a privátbanki szolgáltatások költségszerkezetei is. A magyar privátbankok nincsenek még kutyaszorítóban, de a következő 5-10 évben számos működési alapelvet át kell gondolniuk, hiszen a menő iroda, a kávé és a titkárnő nem fogja megtartani örökre a vagyonos ügyfeleket – hangzott el mindez a Portfolio Investment, Wealth and Savings (IWS) 2020 konferencián.

Megoszlik az alapkezelői szektor képviselőinek véleménye arról, hogy megverhető-e a szuperállampapír által kínált 5%-os hozam. A volatilis tőzsdei időszakban több alternatív eszköz is menekülő útvonalat jelenthet, ilyenek lehetnek a nyersanyagok és az ingatlan is. A Portfolio Investment, Wealth and Savings (IWS) 2020 konferencián előadó szakemberek elmondták, hogy az aranypiac tovább emelkedhet, a palládiumot érdemes lehet shortolni, az ingatlanok ára nyáron ismét emelkedésnek indulhat, az olajpiac pedig az idei évben jó eséllyel 30-40 dollár / hordó árfolyamon marad.

Érdekes és dinamikus párbeszéd alakult ki a Portfolio IWS konferenciájának első, makrogazdasági témákat felölelő panelbeszélgetésében. A beszélgetést nem meglepő módon a koronavírus és annak gazdasági hatásai vitték el. A Virovácz Péterből, Zsiday Viktorból, Tardos Gergelyből és Regős Gáborból álló szakértő gárda kitért többek között arra, hogy fél szívvel fél karantén nem elég, világméretű karantént kellene bevezetni. Ahhoz, hogy nem menjenek csődbe a cégek, óriási fiskális stimulusra van szükség, de elhangzott az is, hogy legyen már recesszió végre.

We warmly welcome all interested individuals over the age of 16 who are interested in the event's professional program, would like to participate, and are open to meeting new partners and high-quality networking opportunities.
You can register for our events on the portfolio.hu/rendezvenyek page on the respective event's subpage by clicking the "registration" button. Due to GDPR compliance, we can only admit participants who have registered online in advance or on-site, and (in case of paid events) have a paid ticket to the event area. Online registration is possible until midnight the day before the event; after that, we welcome interested parties on-site, where our colleagues will gladly assist at the registration desk with ticket purchases or, in the case of free events, ticket collection.
In case of full capacity, registration on the website closes, and you can only join a waiting list. In this case, on-site ticket purchases are also suspended. Our colleagues will notify registered applicants on the list about possible participation opportunities depending on available spots.

The participation fee and other costs (room booking, extras, etc.) can be paid by bank transfer or credit card payment during the registration process. It is important to know that in the two days before the event, only credit card payment is available on our website. In the case of paid events, we cannot guarantee participation without payment of the participation fee.
On the day of the event, bank card payment is also available at the registration desk with the assistance of our colleagues.
Our system automatically sends the QR code after the payment has been received and accounted for. In case of free participation, the QR code for entry is sent immediately after registration. Please check the spam, social, and other subfolders in your email system as well. The email will arrive with the subject "Entry ticket for (event name)..." from the noreply@portfolio.hu email address.
If the QR code still hasn't arrived, please check the payment, as the entry QR code is only sent after the participation fee has been paid. After verifying and confirming the payment, please contact our colleagues at rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address. We cannot provide information by phone; in such cases, we can only help in writing.
For free events, if you still cannot find the QR code after checking all folders, please contact our colleagues by email.
In case of interrupted card payment, please contact our colleagues at the above-mentioned email address. Upon request, they can issue an invoice or help restart the process.

The official language of our events is Hungarian. For foreign language presentations and international guests, we provide live or AI simultaneous interpretation in Hungarian and English. The presentation materials, to which our speakers have given their consent, will be sent in the thank-you letter after the event. Video and audio recordings will not be shared from the event. Articles and analyses about the event from our experts can be read on Portfolio.hu, Agrárszektor.hu, and Pénzcentrum.hu.
Online registration is considered an order. Participation in the event requires prior payment of the participation fee. After finalizing and submitting the registration, we do not accept cancellations, we do not refund the ticket. The participation fee must be paid even in case of absence from the event.
After full payment of the participation fee, however, participation can be transferred. In case of a name change, please write to rendezveny@portfolio.hu email address, our colleagues will send a code with which the incoming participant must also be registered on our site, according to our data management policy. On the day of the event, on-site, colleagues can also help if a name change is necessary due to a sudden event.
