Although daily case numbers are fluctuating, the seven-day moving average unfortunately indicates the spread of the virus is on the rise again in Hungary.

The number of fatalities has not continued the increase seen in recent days, but it is too early to talk about trends.

The number of severe cases treated in hospital and that of people receiving artificial ventilation also increased in the past 24 hours, by 35 and 3, respectively.
