Hungary Mol lowers diesel price again

Hungarian oil and gas group Mol has lowered the wholesale list price of diesel by 4 forints per litre on Wednesday, while the price of 95-octane gasoline has not been changed.
  • The average price of gasoline remains HUF 341 per litre while the average price of diesel is now HUF 371 per litre.
  • Mol last changed motor fuel prices on Friday (4 Dec) when it cut the price of both diesel and gasoline by HUF 10 per litre to HUF 375 and HUF 341, respectively.
  • Motorists may find differences of up to HUF 50 per litre at the pumps, depending on the location and pricing strategy of the given petrol station.
  • The average price of gasoline reached its peak in early April 2012 at HUF 451 and the price of diesel was the highest at HUF 449 on average in mid-January 2012.
