MOL Accounting and Tax, Budapest is recruiting a colleague for International (IFRS) Reporting position (x)

Goal:

To comply with Group regulation and reporting tasks in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Tasks:

• Supervises of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation and reporting processes, focusing on financial reporting of foreign exploration and production projects
• Prepares consolidated financial statements and quarterly stock exchange reports of MOL Group
• Participates in strategic initiatives (due diligences, acquisitions, divestitures, projects in domestic and foreign environment, with focus on exploration and production)
• Updates IFRS accounting policy of MOL Group
• Prepares uniform, best practice accounting and consolidation procedures on Group level
• Supports functional integration between MOL Group members
• Reviews and comments Group regulations and contracts
• Operates work-teams and participates in project teams

Requirements for the position:

• University or college degree in accounting,
• excellent knowledge on international and domestic accounting standards, regulations and best practices as well as consolidation procedures
• professional English,
• at least 5 years professional experience, or 3 years with specialized (industry-specific or international reporting) background
• financial expertise outside accounting
• creativity, openness for new information
• excellent verbal and written communication.

Advantages:

• CPA or ACCA qualification;
• Knowledge on SAP R/3
• Russian or Croation knowledge
• Experience in multinational companies or international environment
